Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career developers to grow their skills while working on real-world projects with experienced mentors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications under supervision of senior developers
• Write clean, well-documented code following team standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews to learn and improve coding skills
• Debug and fix issues in existing applications
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Learn new technologies and frameworks as needed for projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent in Spanish (English is a plus)
• Passion for software development and technology

Nice to Have

• Personal or academic projects demonstrating coding skills
• Basic knowledge of React, TypeScript, or Node.js
• Understanding of database concepts (SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Contributions to open source projects or active GitHub profile
• Internship experience in software development
